2010 is approaching in a few days time! fast, isnt it?
nah, something from me before 2010! haha.

in 2009,

i understood the meaning of true love.
i understood the meaning of Islam as my way of life.
i understood the meaning of friends.

true love that is,

love for Allah swt
AND the messenger of Allah, Nabi Muhammad saw.

+ integrate Islam into our way our life.

this is what i meant.
in everything that we do, its best to stop and think,
will this please Allah or will it displease Him?
will this cause shame to my religion, my community, my family?
will my parents be proud or be ashamed of me?
the answers to these questions will then help you.
should you or should you not carry out the action.

apart from that,

BE THANKFUL.
it doesnt matter. even a few cents from your mother,
(alah, ade ke ibu yang kasi a few cents je?)
okay okay, maybe, two dollars.
thats still money okay.
when YOU are thankful then the small deeds that we do,
will please Allah as well. and will make us feel better. InsyaAllah.

as muslims, we should consider ourselves very, beruntung? yeah.

' Apakah ada nikmat yang melebihi nikmat iman dan Islam? Demi Allah, tidak ada! '
does this sets you thinking?

its never too late to change our ways.
- Allah Maha Pengampun.
do our duties as a muslim well.
it will pay off in the hereafter, insyaAllah.
niat mesti betul okay.
do not change your ways, to be more pious,
for the sake of earning a spot in syurga.

and here, three mistakes that are common in our daily lives.

- wasting time
- talking about matters that do not concern us, matters that are none of our business.
- being preoccupied with trivial issues ; listening to rumours

fuh. all this, aktiviti masyarakat melayu yang selalunya, all time favourite!

if you are with friends who love doing the above,
move away from them. if they do not benefit you, why should you stay close to them?
its difficult, but you can do it. ( nothing is impossible, :p)
i do not say, cannot be friends eh. but you can make full use of your time doing other things that will benefit you. aint forcing, just a reminder.

and yes, the above brings us to the meaning of friends.
most importantly, sehabat sejati.
who is my true friend? wallahu'alam.
i do not know.
im only 17. there's still a long waaay to go till i reach my old age.
and till then, i do not know who will be with me through out the next 50 years of my life.
i wish, the close friends i have with me now will be my true friends.
you know who you are. (:
oh. one thing for sure. do not order your friends around. do not force your friends to change their ways and have a characteristic in them that you want.
im not being sarcastic here, please. in general. okay, in general.
if your current friend benefits you, take good care of him/her.
constantly REMIND ( not force ) the person to fulfill his/her duties as a muslim.
however, if you said it like a thousand of times (haha, bedek lagi nih),
then its all up to him/her to listen to you or not.
we know whats right and wrong ( tapi ada masih tak faham juga, hehe).
so, doa for your friend and insyaAllah, he/she will change for the better.
we've done our best so leave it to Allah now.
